Biomaterials have risen to prominence as a material class with a wide range of medical applications. According to a thorough study undertaken over the previous decade, these innovative materials can help with a variety of health-related issues. Biomaterials and their suitability in the medical field are the subjects of this study. The objective of this paper is to review the biocompatibility and stress compatibility aspects related to the use of Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) for medical device laryngoscope. A Laryngoscope made of Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) material is widely used by anesthetists for anesthesia. Even though ABS is deemed a high-quality material and used in various medical applications it was considered appropriate to comprehensively review the available literature to confirm biocompatibility and stress compatibility.
