In this study, experimental processes are presented to determine the process parameters for superplastic forming (SPF) AA7075 aluminum alloy. The thermomechanical method is performed to prepare the fine stable grain microstructure for AA7075 alloy. Subsequently, the tensile tests and the free bulging tests were carried out under different conditions for the alloy sheet with a thickness of 1.2 mm. The results determine the process parameter ranges of the SPF including deformation temperature of 500-530C, forming pressure of 0.6-0.8MPa, and forming time of 20-40 minutes. The strain rate sensitivity is also calculated with values in the range of 0.3-0.6. The obtained results are an important basis for designing the technological process for the SPF of the studied alloy.
