Abstract

This paper presents a simulation and performance of a sector antenna for WLANs. The designed antenna operating in the 2.4 GHz band provides 90 degrees coverage with 4 sectors. The antenna is designed on a FR-4 substrate with a dielectric constant of 4.4 and thickness of 1.6 mm. Simulation results of the antenna such as return loss, radiation pattern, and gain are compared with the experimental results.
