Reference Limits for Manuscript Submissions
The Suranaree Journal of Science and Technology (SJST) has established reference limits for manuscript submissions in order to maintain academic quality, clarity, and consistency across published articles. The requirements are as follows:

Research Articles:

  • A maximum of 30 references is allowed.

Review Articles:

  • A maximum of 50 references is allowed.

Website resources are not allowed as references.

All references must be cited from relevant, peer-reviewed scholarly sources and formatted according to the journal’s prescribed reference style.

These requirements will be effective for manuscripts submitted on or after January 1, 2026.

Manuscripts that do not comply with the above reference limits may be returned to authors for revision prior to the peer-review process.
