Keywords:

This research aimed to investigate factors that may affect the construction quality control of infrastructure when being under the supervision of local administration authorities. Data were collected from 120 questionnaires answered by civil engineers, chief civil engineers, construction engineers, supervisors or inspectors as well as other relevant personnel of local administration authorities in the provinces of Uttaradit, Phrae and Nan. Factors affecting the construction quality control of infrastructure were analyzed and sequentially ranked by severity index, which is a combination of occurrence frequency level and severity level, into five categories, namely, 1) man 2) money 3) machine 4) material and 50 management. The results indicated that the factor that most affected the quality control was the material procurement delay. On the other hand, the factor that least affected the quality control was the saving in the cost related to safety.
