Peer Review Process :
The Journal of Science and Technology Review (JSTR) maintains a rigorous peer-review process to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity, originality, and scholarly contribution.
All submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published, in whole or in part, in any other journal, conference proceedings, or online platforms. Submissions found to involve plagiarism, redundant publication (self-plagiarism), falsified data, or author misrepresentation are strictly prohibited and will be immediately rejected. To ensure originality, manuscripts must undergo plagiarism screening using applications such as Turnitin. The overall similarity index must not exceed 25%, and each source listed must not contribute more than 2% similarity. Manuscripts that fail to meet these criteria will not proceed to peer review.
Each submission will be evaluated through a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are concealed to ensure unbiased and objective evaluation. The manuscript will be reviewed by at least three independent experts from diverse academic institutions who are not affiliated with the authors.
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its originality, scientific rigor, relevance to the journal’s scope, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field. Authors are required to provide their full names and institutional affiliations in the manuscript; however, this information remains hidden from the reviewers during the review process.
The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the editorial board and reviewers’ recommendations, makes the final decision on whether a manuscript is accepted, requires revision, or is rejected. The editorial team is committed to ensuring transparency, fairness, and academic excellence in every stage of the publication process.
